Master - Service Center

Position Summary

We believe that our Delivery Professionals are the heart and soul of our business, serving as the primary ambassadors to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Lead Delivery Professional to join our team at our Dubuque, IA Service Center. Matthews International is a worldwide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal, and cremation caskets and other products to our funeral home customers.

This position will be responsible for the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans as well as assisting management in day‑to‑day warehouse and delivery operations.

Monday – Friday with Saturday availability when needed.

7 am – Finish. Our drivers are home in the early afternoon.

40+ hour work week.

$23 per hour with opportunities for pay increase.

• Deliver new caskets to funeral homes in a company‑provided truck or van.
• Prepare products for delivery and unload items to be stored in the warehouse.
• Assist management with additional warehouse responsibilities in a lead role.
• Interact with management on day‑to‑day operations and assist with various duties.
• Provide customer service with a smile to our customers.
• CDL license is not required.

• Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in the delivery or warehouse industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday shift and be available on weekends when needed.
• Must have a current driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear, and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 + pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.
