Location: Dubuque, IA
Schedule: Full-Time Monday
- Friday

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials and Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating outside contracts, processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring inventory, and ensuring materials are available to support production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage local outside contracts and assist with contract renewals and bid processes.
  • Create, process, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system.
  • Verify purchase requests, pricing, specifications, and supplier information.
  • Work with suppliers to obtain pricing, delivery schedules, and product specifications.
  • Track orders, resolve delivery issues, and correct purchase order discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to resolve invoice and purchase order issues.
  • Maintain supplier documentation to ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent production interruptions.
  • Receive and verify purchased materials and enter receipts into the ERP system.
  • Evaluate raw materials, skins, and packaging materials.
  • Assist with raw material and packaging inspections.
  • Meet with current and prospective suppliers.
  • Provide backup support for administrative office functions as needed.
Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 1 year of related purchasing or administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems
