Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Dubuque, IA 52001
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + OT

Job Summary
Support supply management and material planning activities by coordinating with suppliers, managing delivery schedules, monitoring inventory, and resolving supply issues to ensure production runs without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers regarding schedule releases, delivery plans, and material requirements.
- Expedite direct materials and ensure all assigned parts have delivery plans to meet production needs.
- Run supplier meetings to review delinquent orders and establish acceptable delivery plans.
- Monitor, measure, and improve supplier performance; define corrective actions when needed.
- Analyze and resolve past-due orders and proactively communicate supply issues to stakeholders.
- Resolve shipping and receiving issues to support timely supplier payments.
- Schedule purchased materials based on order quantities, inventory levels, delivery requirements, and replenishment needs.
- Perform routine inventory-control checks for quantity, quality, and availability.
- Investigate supplier/supply incidents and recommend timely corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze cost, market, supplier, and contract-performance information.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply-chain processes and operations.
- Collaborate with Supply Management and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Support stakeholder meetings, actions, and events.
Required Skills

- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred / Standout Qualifications
- Supply management experience.
- Experience in material flow, supplier development, logistics, or operations.
- SAP experience.
- Experience working in a supply-chain or manufacturing environment.
Education
- Degree or equivalent related work experience in:
Business / Management, Engineering / Technology, Supply Management
