About the Role:
The Regional Director of Operations is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational activities across multiple locations within a designated region. This role ensures that all business units align with the company’s strategic objectives, driving efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth. The Regional Director will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and implement best practices to enhance operational performance. They will serve as a key liaison between corporate leadership and regional managers, fostering collaboration and communication to achieve organizational goals.
Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in shaping the operational success and competitive positioning of the company within the region.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in operations management, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site operations and leading diverse teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree.
- Experience in the management of companies and enterprises industry or a similar sector.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional operational strategies that align with overall corporate goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional operations managers and their teams to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and human resources to support integrated business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards across all regional operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational processes and implementing innovative solutions.
- Represent the company in regional meetings, industry events, and with key stakeholders to promote business growth.
