Job Title: Assembler
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembler to perform various window and door assembly functions. This role involves advising team members of shortages or quality issues, inspecting each phase of assembly for quality assurance, reading and following production lists, and identifying proper materials. Assemblers are expected to follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions while utilizing a range of tools and equipment such as drills, screw guns, nail/staple guns, chop saws, routers, and sanders.
Responsibilities- Perform various window and door assembly functions from start to finish.
- Advise team members of shortages or quality issues.
- Inspect each phase of assembly to assure quality.
- Read and follow production lists and identify proper materials.
- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions.
- Use drills, screw guns, nail/staple guns, chop saws, routers, sanders, and various other tools and equipment as part of the assembly process.
- High School Graduate/GED/HSED.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Proficiency in using drills, screw guns, nail/staple guns, chop saws, routers, sanders, and other tools.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembly, production, general labor, and construction.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.

Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is from Monday to Thursday with two shifts available: 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am. Occasionally, a half or full day on Friday may be scheduled. The facility is not air-conditioned, allowing for a flexible dress code—steel‑toed shoes are required, but shorts and t‑shirts are permitted. Employees receive two twelve‑minute breaks and a thirty‑minute lunch break.
Long hair must be tied up in a ponytail or bun for safety.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.20 – $22.20/hr.
