Manufacturing Welding Associate​/Engineer

Location: Waterloo Works – Tractor Operations

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Work Type: Fully Onsite

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support shop floor operations at Waterloo Works – Tractor Operations. This role is hands‑on and production‑focused, requiring close collaboration with manufacturing teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Fully onsite (no remote work)
• Shop floor / factory environment
• Business casual dress code
• Approximately 75% of time spent on feet
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Metatarsal safety boots required on first day
• Possible overtime to support production needs
• Interview conducted via Teams

• Support daily manufacturing and production activities
• Identify and resolve process, equipment, or workflow issues
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, etc.)
• Apply problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to shop floor challenges
• Communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and leadership

• Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, and/or Data Analytics

OR

• No degree required if candidate has 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

• Recent graduates with manufacturing internships are welcome
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
