Shift: 1st Shift;
Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Pay: $19.00/hour

We are looking for a dedicated Blaster to join our production team in Dubuque, IA. The Blaster is responsible for preparing products for coating using a variety of pre-treatment processes and equipment. The ideal candidate ensures that all products meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and production goals while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Operate pre-treatment equipment including media blast machines
• Follow job travelers and production schedules to ensure proper processing and efficiency.
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to transport heavy product bins to and from machines.
• Conduct safety and quality checks, including monitoring chemical titration levels and ensuring correct product treatment.
• Maintain daily documentation and logs as required.
• Ensure product is processed correctly to prevent rust or under-treatment.
• Perform safety walks and ensure workspace is free from hazards.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Cross-train in other areas of production as needed.
• Support other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, 65 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs rarely.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with chemicals and high temperatures.
• Full range of physical motion, including standing, bending, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.

• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

• Work is performed in a production/warehouse setting.
• Exposure to chemicals and hot conditions.
• Frequent movement, including standing and lifting throughout the shift.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination required.
