Responsibilities- Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Educate and empower patients and families throughout their treatment journey
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, therapists, and fellow nurses
- Monitor symptoms, manage side effects, and be a calm, trusted presence every day
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)
Experience:
- 1-3 years of nursing experience
- Previous oncology experience preferred
Certification/License:
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
