Role:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location:
Bettendorf, Iowa. Full‑time position with 8‑hour evening shifts from 4PM to 12AM. Start of care is urgent or immediate. Duties include pediatric (toddler) care, G‑tube care, trach care, ventilator support, medication administration.
- Provide 1:1 pediatric private duty care.
- Manage G‑tube feedings and tracheostomy care.
- Provide ventilator support and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Consult with physicians and report changes in care to the nurse supervisor.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Mentor new employees during patient‑specific orientations.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 clinical team and follow all policies and state/federal regulations.
- LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or eligible under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (where applicable).
- Clear background screening, Hep B and TB screening.
- Current CPR card/certificate with in‑person instructor‑led skills check.
- Ability to read and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable, attentive, and committed to consistent scheduling.
- Comfortable managing G‑tube feedings (training available).
- Experience with trach and ventilator care, preferably with pediatric patients.
- Hourly wage of $2 per hour shift differential for shifts worked between 7:00PM and 7:00AM.
- Weekly pay with direct deposit.
