LPN Day Shift 7a‑7p – Part Time

The Geropsych Department at UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital is looking for a skilled, patient‑focused LPN to join our interdisciplinary team. Bring your expertise, heart, and dedication to help us support our older patients on their journey to mental wellness!
Shift: Full‑time, Nights 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, for 48 hours per pay period, holiday and every third weekend rotation
Position Information: This is a Unity Point Health – Finley Hospital position, partnered with Horizon Health.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality nursing care to geriatric psychiatric patients, including medication administration, monitoring, and patient support.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to promote positive outcomes.
- Active IA LPN license required.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within three (3) months from hire date.
