Job Description

Bio Life is seeking part‑time plasma donor screeners to support plasma collection operations. This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day and 3 or more days per week. Shifts include evenings, weekends, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, ensuring the safety of donors and the team.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Experience working in a customer or patient‑facing role (minimum 1 year) is helpful.
• Understanding of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
  1); 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00 (actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location).
