Registered Nurse

This position requires working in a behavioral health setting. The unit handles a bed size of nine patients and may have a patient ratio of up to one:nine. Applicants should be comfortable managing patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs. The role may involve working holidays and weekends as assigned. Flexibility is required for on-call responsibilities as needed. This position is not open to local candidates within a specific radius.

Preference is given to candidates with experience in de-escalation techniques.

Minimum of 24 months of experience in a psych/behavioral health capacity required. Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. De-escalation certificates (MOAB, MAB, CPI, SAMA) highly preferred and can be obtained during onboarding.

Experience with all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics. Charge experience required. EPIC experience required.
