Registered Nurse – ICU

Registered Nurse Icu Position

Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care for patients in an ICU setting, delivering assessment, interventions, and continuous monitoring to support optimal outcomes. The role collaborates with the healthcare team to implement evidence-based care plans and respond rapidly to changes in patient status.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and vital signs, monitoring hemodynamic and respiratory status continuously.
• Implement and document nursing interventions according to established care plans and protocols.
• Administer medications and therapies accurately, verifying orders and monitoring for effects.
• Perform critical care procedures and collaborate on timely escalation of care when needed.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and ensure safe patient handling and equipment use.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and provide clear, concise shift handoffs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrate ICU experience or equivalent critical care competency.
• Possess proficiency in continuous monitoring, titration support, and rapid response principles.
• Maintain current BLS certification; meet unit expectations for ACLS as applicable.
• Exhibit strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills in high-acuity environments.
• Show ability to document accurately and consistently in clinical systems.
