Job Purpose:

The Part Time Registered Nurse at Crescent Community Health Center is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the health center's mission to provide accessible healthcare services to the community. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.

- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to all patients, respecting their dignity and privacy.

Hours for this role are Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a non-benefits role, although you are still eligible to participate in our company 401(k) with 5% non-vested match and accumulate PTO.Required

Education:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.

Required Experience:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a community health setting.

- Experience in patient assessment, care planning, and providing direct patient care.

- Familiarity with electronic health records and healthcare information systems.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in administering medications and performing medical procedures as per standard nursing practices.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to health equity and community wellness.
