Job Full Description
A local manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in quality control and inspection who take pride in precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts to ensure compliance with specifications
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Operate a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and document inspection results
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Identify non-conforming parts and report quality issues to production and management
- Accurately document inspection data and maintain quality records
- Assist with root cause investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Verify that parts meet internal quality standards and customer requirements
- Follow all safety, quality, and shop procedures
- Previous experience in quality inspection or quality control
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating and/or interpreting CMM results preferred
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:20 PM
- Overtime: Typically until 3:20 PM
- Occasional Saturday overtime: as needed
