Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures and guidelines including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, proper disposal of hazardous materials, steel standard guidelines and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, receiving and stocking, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing audits and documentation, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.

Follow company policies related to the freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating, repairing and sanitizing equipment, following cold‑chain procedures, cleaning the area, monitoring fans, drains and doors, and reporting issues to management.

• Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for our members.
• Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Must be 18 years of age or older. Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if you receive the position.
