OverviewAs an in‑store Product Demonstrator, you will complete food and non‑food product demonstrations, acquire product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down samples, and engage consumers in a professional manner. You must maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
Pay Rate$15.00 per hour (maximum 25 hours per week; scheduling may vary by business need).
Responsibilities- Gain adequate knowledge of all represented products.
- Proactively intercept and engage consumers, selling products positively.
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation with cleaning chemicals.
- M sustain a professional appearance.
- Set up and prepare the event table before execution.
- Achieve 100% completion of assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Word, PDF).
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months relevant experience/training preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with personal computer or mobile device, applications, and internal systems.
- Certificates: Local food handler permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Regular standing and walking, hand use, reach up to 65 inches, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, push/pull demonstration cart, cleaning supply contact.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Work Environment: Retail store; limited travel.
- Physical Appearance: Professional grooming and retailer dress code compliance.
- Language Skills: English required; bilingual skills may be required.
