Retail Cashier

Overview

Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by creating a welcoming shopping environment, handling sales transactions, promoting company programs, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures.

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs.
• Process sales transactions and returns following front‑end procedures.
• Promote company programs such as loyalty plans and warranty sales.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Create an inclusive store environment where all teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store on a hands‑on‑decks basis.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer‑focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs. up to 5 times per hour.
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
