About This Role

At Tel Com Construction, as a Traveling Telecommunications Supervisor, you’ll supervise and implement the company construction program ensuring that each job site follows the construction rules, practices and policies.

• Supervise the day-to-day operations.
• Ensure the completion of assigned projects.
• Provide communication and leadership to foremen and crew members.
• Organize materials, equipment, and labor.
• Verify locates, materials, and billings.
• Provide all required job reporting.
• Complete as-builts and redlines.
• Participate and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required.
• Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred.
• Good computer skills, specifically in database software and Excel.
• Prior experience with Google applications is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Out-of-town travel is required as well as on-call availability.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Class A CDL license is a plus.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (non‑provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous construction experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

• Routinely work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and remote locations, climb stairs, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds; operate vehicle & heavy machinery.
• Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.

The wage range for Traveling Underground Supervisor Telecom is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00.
