Q CASINO + RESORTLicensed ElectricianBASIC FUNCTION Under general supervision, performs skilled journeyman-level electrical work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems throughout Q Casino + Resort’s gaming floor, hotel, entertainment venues, food and beverage outlets, and supporting facilities. Ensures all electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable codes to support a premier guest experience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to:

Facilities Director, Facilities Manager Supervises: N/ASPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRepairs and maintains electrical systems, machinery, physical structure, and grounds throughout the casino floor, hotel, entertainment venues, and food and beverage outlets in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and applicable building codes.

Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.

Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

Inspects electrical systems throughout casino, hotel, and resort facilities to identify repair needs and ensure safe, code-compliant operation.

Replace conduit and wiring as needed.

Replace circuit breakers as needed.

Tests electrical systems and casino gaming equipment power connections to ensure proper installation, safe operation, and minimal guest-facing downtime.

Performs routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, mechanical equipment, gaming floor power distribution, signage, and lighting across all resort areas.

Installs, repairs, and replaces electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and lighting including decorative and architectural lighting throughout guest-facing areas of the casino and hotel.

Repairs or replaces concrete, plaster walls, paint walls, floors, ceiling, or fixtures.

Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment, and opens clogged drains.

Repairs various types of furniture, doors, windows, floors, lockers, gates, roofs, ceilings.

Digs ditches and trenches.

Assists with remodeling projects, new construction, and capital improvement work within the casino and resort facilities.

Repairs or replaces electrical components of kitchen, bar, and food service equipment across Q Casino + Resort’s dining and hospitality outlets.

Maintains grounds.

Performs related duties as required.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license required.

Minimum 3 years’ journeyman-level experience; commercial, hospitality, or gaming facility experience preferred.

Electrical License & Driver’s License.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCEKnowledge of mechanical tools and equipment

Knowledge of electrical tools and equipment.

Blueprint reading and code requirement.

Able to communicate professionally with a wide range of team members and departments, including gaming operations, food and beverage, hotel, and security staff.

Able to complete OSHA forms, work orders, and maintenance logs; responds promptly to work order requests to minimize disruption to casino and hotel operations.

MENTAL AND

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions.

Heavy work, exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONSWorker is subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including extremes in heat and cold.

Subject to noise, and vibration.

Subject to hazards (moving mechanical parts, electrical current, scaffolding, exposure to chemicals).Subject to atmospheric conditions affecting the respiratory system or skin (fumes, dusts, mists, gasses, poor ventilation).Subject to oils and other cutting fluids

In certain situations, you are required to wear a respiratorEQUIPMENT AND TOOLS General office equipment including, but not limited to:
