Class A CDL Driver: Deliveries & Equipment Care

Summary

Under direct supervision, the Driver makes deliveries daily, processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries and pick‑ups, and cleans equipment when needed.

• Delivers and picks up trailers as needed
• Takes care of equipment during transit and ensures zero damage
• Processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries/pick ups
• Cleans equipment before it goes into the shop and while it is on the lot
• Performs general maintenance of equipment lot (i.e. snow removal)
• Keeps the lot organized
• Assists with shop and office cleanup as needed
• Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor towards customers
• Runs parts as needed
• Organizes and maintains inventory and specific tool areas
• Maintains high productivity workflow levels in and out of the shop
• Maintains grounds and building appearance at high satisfaction levels
• Assists with rental deliveries and returns
• Other duties as assigned

• Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
• Punctual and make no delays in deliveries
• Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to deal with issues while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Prepared to work in any traffic, weather, and timing according to the Company’s business needs
• Must have a class A‑CDL driver’s license with a med card
