Coded Welder – Halesowen
Rate: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour
Position OverviewMy client is an independent steam specialist offering boiler repair, installation, troubleshooting and inspection solutions. The role involves working on boilers and valves, primarily performing coded welding tasks.
Responsibilities- Retubing of boilers
- Cutting out and completing D‑patch repairs
- Tube plate replacement
- Coded welding of pipework and vessels (carbon steel MMA with low hydrogen electrodes)
- Travelling to customer sites as required
- Previous welding experience essential
- Recognised qualification in welding
- Highly proficient with Stick welding
- Ability to understand welding diagrams
- Experience with boilers and valves
- Based within commutable distance of Halesowen and hold a full UK driving licence
- Salary: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
- Overtime paid at time and a half for the first 4 hours and double time thereafter
- Saturday work paid at time and a half and Sunday work paid at double time
- 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
