Window Fitter / Window & Door Installer

Window and door fitting experience is required.

We are looking for an experienced Window Fitter / Window & Door Installer to join a team on a self-employed basis, working as part of a two-person fitting team across the Halesowen and Sandwell areas.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced fitter looking for regular work within the domestic sector, working directly in homeowners’ properties as well as on local authority contracts.

The Role

As a Window Fitter, you will be responsible for the professional installation of windows and doors across a range of domestic properties. You will work as part of a two-person team, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The role will involve:

* Installing windows and doors within domestic properties.

* Working on both homeowner and local authority contracts.

* Removing existing windows and doors where required.

* Installing uPVC windows and doors to a high standard.

* Working as part of a two-person fitting team.

* Ensuring installations are completed accurately and efficiently.

* Maintaining a clean and professional working environment within customers’ homes.

* Following relevant health and safety procedures.

* Representing the company professionally when working with homeowners and local authority customers.

Requirements

Window and door fitting experience is essential.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Proven experience fitting windows and doors.

* Experience working within the domestic sector.

* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a two-person team.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* A full UK driving licence is preferred.

* Own window fitting tools are essential.

* A reliable and professional approach to work.

Driving arrangements:
We are open to either two qualified fitters, or one experienced driver/fitter working alongside a competent fitter’s mate.

Pay & Benefits

* Self-employed position

* Up to £180 per day, depending on experience

* Potential annual earnings of approximately £40,000–£45,000

* Regular work available

* Domestic and local authority contracts

* Work primarily across Halesowen, Sandwell and surrounding areas
