Rate: £25 per hour CIS, or pricework

About the Role:

Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fire door carpenters to join our client’s passive fire teams, focussing on either remedials or installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day  upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a variety of remedials on firedoors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and also communal areas in tower blocks across the City.

Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties

Complete necessary remedial works in line with company H&S Policies and ensuring they are compliant to regulations.

Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.

Requirements:

NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade

Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs

Strong communication and customer service skills

Full UK Driving Licence

Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors
