Business & Tax Systems, LLC, is seeking a tax professional to join our team. We are a stable firm with a strong client base in need of an individual to help maintain and grow existing client relationships. This role will serve as a trusted advisor, providing tax preparation, analysis, planning, and compliance services to clients. Because this position involves direct client interaction, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, enjoy building strong client relationships, and be dedicated to delivering professional, high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate tax returns.
• Work directly with clients from the initial meeting through the completion of the engagement.
• Participate in creating and developing processes that enhance the client experience and increase efficiency.
• Analyze client financial information, assess their needs, and determine strategies required to meet their objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate returns is preferred, but we are 100% willing to train the right candidate.
• Financial statement preparation experience is preferred.
• Excellent research, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a small firm environment.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• A licensed CPA is preferred, and as we discussed above, we will support and assist the right candidate to achieve their CPA designation.
