Assistant Accounting Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a tech‑savvy student to join our team as Assistant Accounting Manager. The Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for reviewing expense reports, performing cash reconciliation, and performing Accounts Payable functions for our nonprofit clients. • Review expense reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles, nonprofit regulations, and grant requirements.
• Prepare cash reconciliation and review reconciling items.
• Manage day‑to‑day Accounts Payable operations, including entering bills via  and reviewing coding specific to nonprofit standards.

• Experienced with Excel, including advanced formulas.
• Have experience in Quick Books.
• Able to learn a new system quickly and efficiently.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
