Audit and Tax Associate

Internship Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance

• Performing fieldwork and report writing for assurance engagements
• Preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses (for profit and not for profit), and trusts
• Preparing journal entries and presenting them to management on assurance and bookkeeping engagements
• Working alongside Managers/Partners on engagements to prepare end product for presentation to management and board of directors
• Presenting findings on assurance and tax engagements for possible ways to enhance or grow client’s business

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• CPA designation or working towards CPA
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Willingness to ask questions and drive to grow individually and within the firm
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies (e.g., firm’s artificial intelligence software)
