Responsibilities- Perform and help manage client audits, reviews, and compilations across a range of industries.
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate financial statements and management reporting.
- Work directly with the tax team to prepare tax filings and communicate effective tax planning strategies.
- Assist with team coordination of engagement planning, fieldwork, and close meetings.
- Work directly with clients in response to inquiries and develop strong relationships with client personnel.
- Mentor and direct multiple staff members depending on experience level
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam within 3 months of hire or have already taken the CPA exam.
- 1-3 years at an accounting firm or supporting a company’s accounting function.
- Demonstrated teamwork qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Pro System FX preferred but not required.
