We are seeking a motivated Accounting Assistant Intern to join our team. This position offers comprehensive hands-on training in core accounting and tax functions. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in the following areas:
Responsibilities:- Preparing payroll tax returns for the IRS, EDD, and other relevant agencies.
- Assisting with the preparation of sales and property tax filings.
- Generating and reconciling financial statements using Quick Books.
- Preparing individual, LLC, corporate, and trust tax returns.
- Calculating and preparing tax liability estimates.
- Strong interest in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Quick Books.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
