Governmental & Non-profit Audit Intern – Grand Rapids, MI (In-Office)

Hours
:
Minimum 15 hrs/week during the school year (flexible scheduling for classes & exams); potential for full-time summer work (13 weeks)

Pay
: $25–$30/hr depending on background and performance

About Us

Gabridge & Company, PLC is a Michigan-based CPA firm specializing in audits of local governments and nonprofit organizations. We are members of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center and the AICPA Not-for-Profit Section. Our interns gain hands‑on experience working alongside experienced auditors on real client engagements.

What You’ll Do
  • Learn and apply our audit approach, methodology, and tools
  • Assist with analytical reviews and financial testing
  • Review client accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Research and help resolve accounting/auditing issues
  • Draft sections of audit reports and supporting documentation
  • Participate in risk assessment and control testing
  • Provide practical recommendations for process improvement
