Position SummaryThe University at Buffalo is searching for a Staff Assistant to provide daily administrative management support for the University Police Department. The Staff Assistant will perform functions including, but not limited to:
- Serves as Administrative Assistant to Chief, Deputy Chiefs, and HR & Business Manager.
- Supervise the University Police Lost & Found operations, assist with non-emergency phone inquiries, and conduct quarterly audits.
- Assist with the monitoring of OTPS and PSR expenditures, including creating and reconciling electronic personnel and requisition transactions.
- Coordinate daily staff scheduling, overtime tracking, accrual management, and biweekly timesheet processing.
- Manage the distribution, collection, and analysis of departmental customer satisfaction surveys.
- Assist student employees with onboarding documentation and process ePTF transactions.
- Support monthly billing operations through Blue Services.
- Compile and maintain information in compliance with accrediting agency policies and standards.
- Provide administrative support to the Criminal Investigation Division as needed.
