LANNINGSMITH is a multidisciplinary creative studio specializing in the production of custom objects, spaces, and experiences for leading global brands. We operate across design, fabrication, and logistics, delivering complex projects with precision and care.

As our production, fulfillment, and brand distribution volume continues to grow, we are hiring a Shipping & Distribution Manager to own and streamline all shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations.

The Shipping & Brand Fulfillment Manager owns the execution of shipping, kitting, and distribution for client campaigns and production projects. This role ensures that finished goods, fabricated components, and branded kits are packed, documented, and delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with brand standards.

This is a hands-on operational role that combines physical execution with administrative process ownership. You will work closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to translate creative concepts into physical deliveries—whether that’s a national influencer seeding program, a retail rollout, or a custom installation.

Shipping & Logistics

• Own all outbound and inbound shipping and receiving
• Coordinate courier, freight, and LTL shipments (domestic & international)
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, tracking, and customs forms
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues
• Communicate shipment status internally

Fulfillment, Kitting & Brand Distribution

• Execute high-volume and bespoke fulfillment programs for brand campaigns
• Manage kitting and assembly for promotional collateral including:
  • Seeding kits
  • Influencer mailers
  • Corporate gifting
  • Press kits and branded mailers
• Plan packing methods and determine appropriate packaging materials
• Ensure kits are assembled accurately, consistently, and to brand standards
• Handle returns, reshipments, and damaged shipments

Contract Labor Management

• Schedule and manage freelance packers and fulfillment staff
• Create clear instructions and workflows for contract labor
• Oversee packing quality and efficiency during high-volume periods

Inventory & Documentation

• Track inventory movement related to shipping and fulfillment
• Maintain organized staging and storage areas
• Document delivery confirmations and shipment records
• Support audits, reconciliations, and reporting when needed

Systems & Process Improvement

• Maintain shipping software and courier accounts
• Keep Project Management software updated with shipment status
• Improve shipping workflows, documentation, and packing standards
• Identify cost, timeline, and quality improvement opportunities

Required

• 3+ years experience in fulfillment, campaign logistics, or branded distribution
• Experience supporting marketing, influencer, PR, or promotional programs
• Hands-on experience with kitting and fulfillment for branded or promotional programs
• Experience with shipping software (Ship Station, UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, etc.)
• Familiarity with courier and freight shipping (UPS, Fed Ex, LTL)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience in agency, brand services, experiential marketing, or production studios
• Familiarity with campaign-based workflows and deadlines
• Knowledge of international shipping and customs documentation
• Experience managing freelance or temporary labor
