Smarter markets for modern trading. Initiativ is building a modern commodities exchange for physical spot & derivatives, starting with the €1trn market of emissions rights instruments (EUAs). The exchange is purpose-built to replace legacy models unchanged since 2005, enabling better price discovery access and trading for corporate end-users currently routed through brokers, while lowering fees, optimizing collateral, and diversifying traded instruments for institutional traders.

We are looking for a Right Hand profile able to thrive in fast-paced environments, previous internship experiences within financial institutions/scale-ups, to assist leadership in their mission scaling from Seed to Series A.

• Day-to-day executive support: support planning and tracking of CEO’s priorities, prepare documents, briefings, and materials for internal and external meetings, coordinate with external service providers, strategic partners, and shareholders, contribute to internal management documentation
• Investors relations support: manage stakeholder communications (newsletters, events), prepare periodic reporting and update investor materials (dashboards, memos, status updates), monitor market comparables & draft executive summaries of competitive landscape
• Company administration and operations: support administrative, contractual, and financial tracking, manage relationships with service providers (legal, accounting, administrative), help build and maintain internal planning and organizational tools
• Events management & SEO: create & organize a community around the company’s mission, contribute to SEO ranking, organize and plan relevant events (webinars, monthly after works, etc)

• Degree from a business school, university, or equivalent (finance, entrepreneurship, innovation)
• First experience in finance, private equity, venture capital, or a tech startup
• Bilingual English
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent written communication

• Interest in technology, finance, and regulation
• Team player with a results-driven mindset

• Paris 2e offices, hybrid-work under consideration

• Regulatory context: MTF platform under AMF authorization (in progress). Professional clients only (MiFID Il). Markets: EUA / C11 (EU ETS), expanding to broader commodities
• Technical infrastructure:. Fully on-chain matching engine and back office with T+0 settlement.
