We are hiring substitute teachers and para educators in Oakville School District. No previous experience is required!

• Substitute Para educator: At least 18 years of age and HS Diploma
• Substitute Teacher: Valid Teaching License or Emergency Substitute Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments

* Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.

* Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, para educators, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
