Vision for Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Dudley area with prior experience supporting pupils of primary age with Special Educational Needs to start from the May half-term and continue into the next academic year.
Responsibilities- Work one-to-one and in small groups with students with Special Educational Needs outside of the classroom.
- Follow EHCPs and school guidelines.
- Start from May 2026 as a full-time staff member, with potential to become a permanent member of the school.
- Work between school hours of 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.
- Prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.
- A keen passion for building strong working relationships with pupils and providing them the best chance of developing.
- Ability to commit to 5 days a week.
- Ideally hold a teaching assistant qualification, though experience may compensate.
- Provide references from most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
