Job DescriptionJoin our Summer Program team supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs in a structured, engaging, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, lessons, and student engagement
- Supporting students during recreational activities, transitions, and transportation routines
- Helping maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
- Participating in staff training and collaborating with the program team
- Flexibly supporting different classrooms or students as needed
The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, dependable, and committed to making a positive impact with students.
Candidates must successfully complete CORI and fingerprinting requirements.
Program dates:
July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026 (Mon - Fri) 8:45am - 2 pm
These positions are temporary seasonal assignments for the duration of the Summer Program.

The Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative's mission is to provide programs and services to meet the unique educational needs of all of its students. The Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative was established in 1978 as an Educational Collaborative servicing regular and special education students and families. Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative services students ages 3-22 in a small, structured therapeutic and academic learning environment, paced to meet the needs of its students on an individualized basis.
The Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative program offers a strong academic component designed to accommodate the learning needs of our students and to encourage their motivation to achieve.
