Teacher at Dudley Elementary School

We are recruiting a Teacher for Champions to support elementary‑aged children during out‑of‑school time on school grounds.

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement Kinder Care's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and handle multiple situations.
• Possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2‑3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state‑specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Capable of maintaining postures that allow physical and visual contact with children, seeing and hearing well enough to keep children safe, and engaging in physical activity with them.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.25 per hour
