Education Disabilities Mental Health Manager

Bachelor degree $29.81 per hour

The Education and Early Childhood Development content area is a key component of Head Start/Early Head Start services, supporting overall program goals. This position oversees early childhood education, services for children with disabilities, and mental health services in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards.

Responsibilities include supporting curriculum development, providing educational resources for staff and families, and ensuring compliance with performance standards and best practices. The position ensures that education, disabilities, and mental health services are delivered by qualified staff and consultants with appropriate training and experience, allowing for individualized and coordinated services for children with disabilities. As a general requirement, applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD) or an equivalent (18 ECE or CD credits).
