Pay Rate: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
Are you passionate about martial arts and making a positive impact on young students?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Martial Arts Instructor to lead engaging martial arts classes this fall. This program helps students develop confidence, discipline, focus, respect, and physical fitness through structured, age-appropriate instruction in a fun and supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for martial arts practitioners, coaches, athletes, and instructors who enjoy mentoring youth and helping students build valuable life skills both on and off the mat.
Curriculum guidance and program support are provided, allowing you to focus on creating a positive and rewarding learning experience for students.
What You’ll Do- Lead engaging martial arts classes in a safe, structured, and supportive environment
- Teach fundamental techniques, movements, stances, balance, coordination, and fitness skills
- Promote core values such as respect, discipline, perseverance, self-control, and sportsmanship
- Guide students through warm‑ups, drills, skill‑building exercises, and age‑appropriate activities
- Encourage physical activity, confidence, and positive character development
- Adapt instruction to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all students can succeed
- Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and constructive feedback
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure a safe learning environment
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an engaging class experience
- Experience in martial arts, self‑defense, taekwondo, karate, kung fu, jiu‑jitsu, mixed martial arts, or related disciplines
- Passion for working with students and helping them grow through physical activity
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Patient, reliable, energetic, and professional attitude
- Ability to motivate students while maintaining a positive and structured environment
- Comfortable leading group instruction and physical activities
- Prior teaching, coaching, camp, or youth program experience is a plus but not required
- Martial arts certifications, coaching experience, or instructor credentials are preferred but not required
- Competitive pay: $25–$35/hour based on experience
