Pay Rate: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
Are you passionate about helping students develop confidence, emotional intelligence, and positive social skills?
We are seeking an engaging and compassionate Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) Instructor to lead interactive enrichment classes this fall. This program helps students develop essential life skills such as self‑awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication, decision‑making, and relationship‑building.
Through age‑appropriate activities, discussions, games, role‑playing exercises, and collaborative projects, students will learn how to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, and develop resilience both inside and outside the classroom.

What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging Social & Emotional Learning classes in a safe and supportive environment
- Facilitate activities focused on self‑awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication, and relationship‑building
- Encourage positive social interactions, teamwork, and respectful communication
- Guide students through discussions, role‑playing activities, games, and collaborative exercises
- Help students develop problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution, and decision‑making skills
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued and supported
- Adapt instruction to accommodate different personalities, learning styles, and developmental needs
- Encourage confidence, self‑expression, and emotional growth
- Monitor student participation and provide positive reinforcement and support
- Maintain classroom organization and effective behavior management
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional learning experience
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for youth development, education, psychology, counseling, or social‑emotional learning
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom leadership skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and create a supportive environment
- Patient, empathetic, organized, and professional attitude
- Comfortable facilitating discussions and group activities
- Ability to encourage participation and help students develop confidence and self‑awareness
- Prior teaching, mentoring, counseling, coaching, camp, or youth program experience is a plus but not required
- Background in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Counseling, Social Work, or related fields is highly encouraged
