Camp Lindenmere is looking for a Music teacher to work in our “Rockshop” area this summer. The ideal candidate will have experience performing in a band and a passion for music education. The candidate must have extensive music experience and a passion for teaching others. Internship position available.

Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Camp Lindenmere is a private, coed sleep‑away camp established in 1935. Our focus is on the individual growth of each child, and our campers range in age from 7 to 17. We run Sports, Arts, Performing Arts, Adventure, STEM, and Circus & Gymnastics programs on a daily basis across our beautiful facilities.

• Teach music theory to campers at varying levels.
• Prepare lesson plans and coordinate band performances.
• Motivate campers and adapt to schedule changes.
• Maintain time management and meet deadlines.
• Serve as general counselor during certain parts of the day.
• Work alongside staff and be part of a supportive community.

• Current college student or recent graduate.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and staff.
• Ability to teach a range of levels in music theory and lead musicians of all abilities.
• Previous leadership experience or working in a small team.
• High moral character, strong work ethic, and passion for guiding children.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Must pass staff screening, including reference checks, criminal background checks, sex offender registry checks, fingerprinting, and other relevant checks.

We pay very competitive rates to attract the best staff as well as a travel allowance. Room and board plus weekly laundry is included, so you really have no expenses at all while at camp.
