TITLE: Career and Tech. – HVAC-R/Plumbing Instructor Anticipated Opening

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month

REPORTS TO: Career & Tech Building Principal

TYPICAL WORK

ACTIVITIES:

Provide training to juniors and seniors with classroom instruction, project-based learning, and hands‑on skills that would prepare students to be college and career‑ready in electrical trades.

• Communicate with parents, teachers, school counselors, and others involved in the student’s education.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom and work sites
• Monitor student’s academic progress including, but not limited to, progress/marking period grades, attendance, hands‑on performance skills
• Implement 504 plans and IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
• Keep current with changes and developments in electrical industries
• Other responsibilities as determined by the CTE Principal

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience in HVAC-R/Plumbing trades (commercial, residential).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Have or be eligible for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration 7-12 Career & Technical Education certification.
