ULimo is seeking Vehicle Dynamics Engineering Interns to help explore and analyze the performance, handling, stability, ride quality, and overall dynamics of future transportation systems. Interns will contribute research, engineering analysis, and innovative ideas that support the development of safer, more efficient, and more comfortable mobility solutions.
This internship provides students with valuable exposure to automotive engineering principles while working alongside startup leadership on transportation-focused engineering initiatives.
This role is ideal for students interested in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Vehicle Dynamics, and transportation systems.
ULimo is currently in the design phase of one of our most ambitious projects yet: designing what we envision to be the world’s first fully self-driving (FSD) electric luxury party buses and limousines. As an engineering intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, research, engineering concepts, and technical solutions that help shape the future of next-generation luxury transportation. This is a unique opportunity to gain early-stage product development experience while working directly with startup leadership on innovative mobility technologies.
Responsibilities- -Research vehicle dynamics, handling characteristics, and ride performance.
- -Assist with engineering analysis related to suspension, steering, braking, and chassis systems.
- -Support simulation and modeling projects involving vehicle behavior and performance.
- -Research technologies that improve vehicle stability, safety, and driving comfort.
- -Assist with technical documentation and engineering reports.
- -Collaborate with engineering teams on transportation innovation projects.
- -Evaluate industry trends and recommend engineering improvements.
- -Contribute ideas for next-generation vehicle performance and mobility solutions.
- -Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- -Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- -Interest in vehicle performance, dynamics, and transportation technology.
- -Familiarity with engineering simulation software is a plus.
- -Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- -Work directly with startup founders and engineering leadership.
- -Gain experience in automotive engineering research and vehicle systems.
- -Build a professional engineering portfolio.
