Position Type: Part-Time / Event-Based Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: Flexible Pay Rate: $17 – $19

Luna Security Services is a Chicago-based security and event staffing company with over 30 years of experience supporting major venues, universities, festivals, and live events. Luna provides professional security officers, event staff, guest services, access control, crowd management, and site support for a wide range of clients and events.

Our team has supported events and operations at locations such as Northwestern University, United Center, Navy Pier, Wrigley Field, Live Nation events, Lollapalooza, and NASCAR Chicago. We take pride in providing dependable, professional, and friendly staff who help create safe, welcoming, and well‑organized experiences for guests.

Luna Security Services is hiring Event Staff Team Members to support campus events, athletic events, concerts, festivals, and other live events throughout the Chicago area. This is a great opportunity for students who are dependable, outgoing, and interested in gaining hands‑on experience in event operations, hospitality, guest services, public safety, sports, entertainment, or venue management.

As a member of Luna’s Event Staff team, you will help guests navigate events, support access points, assist with crowd flow, and represent Luna and its clients in a professional and welcoming manner.

• Greeting guests and providing friendly, professional customer service
• Assisting with way finding, guest questions, and general event information
• Supporting ticketing, credential, or access control checkpoints
• Helping manage lines, entrances, exits, and crowd flow
• Monitoring assigned areas to help maintain a safe and organized environment
• Assisting event supervisors, venue staff, and client representatives as needed
• Supporting setup, event operations, and post-event breakdown when needed
• Communicating clearly with team members and supervisors during events
• Representing Luna Security Services with professionalism, dependability, and a positive attitude

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A professional, friendly, and team‑oriented attitude
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to remain calm and helpful in busy or fast‑paced environments
• Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods during events
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event‑based shifts
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, athletics, retail, customer service, or security is helpful but not required
