The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club is seeking an On-Field Personality & Host Intern for the 2027 season. This position will work under the direction of the General Manager. This position is the “Face of the Team” and is highly visible and interacting with the fans on a nightly basis.

General Responsibilities

• Attend all 30+ home games and home playoff games if necessary
• Help coordinate theme nights – let’s make each night something special
• Serve as On-Field Host leading promotions & games on the field and in the stands
• Coordinating pre-game on-field activities including national anthem, first pitch, & etc.
• Responsible for writing game script for use by PA announcer and other staff
• Ensuring props and promotional supplies are ready for each game and properly stored
• Assist in all pre-game set-up and post-game cleanup operations as needed
• Assist with pre-game and post-game shows
• Continually brainstorm new and exciting in-game promotions
• Assist in making sure sponsored promotions are meeting the needs of their contract
• Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management
• Attend weekly planning meeting with management.
• Assist with player appearances and mascot appearances in the community
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours (Nights and weekends)
• Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management

• Creative & outside of the box mindset
• Must have a passion for sports
• Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds on microphone
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
