We are seeking an experienced tax professional with the opportunity to become a partner within two years due to growth opportunities and planned partner retirements.

- Perform general tax accounting and other related duties for a variety of our clients. This includes:
- Overseeing tax compliance and planning for clients, ensuring accurate and timely tax return preparation and adherence to tax laws within federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Develop and implement tax strategies, manage teams, and advise clients on tax-related matters.
- Manage client engagements and client relationships
- Provide superior client service, including timely responses and resolutions to requests.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality of all client documents and information.
- Contribute to the training and development of professional staff.
- Ability to perform other various professional duties as requested or assigned.
- Community-minded, located or willing to relocate to the Quad Cities.
- 8+ years of progressive tax management experience in public accounting.
- CPA Certification:
Requires an active CPA license in the state of Iowa. - Exceptional leadership and client management: strong leadership skills, the ability to manage teams and client relationships, and business development skills.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis. - Strong tax law knowledge, tax planning, and consulting skills, including demonstrated experience with various tax entities and tax software.
- Knowledge of tax functions, including preparation, review, and tax law.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills (to communicate with clients, staff, and peers).
- Computer proficiency – especially MS Office Products and tax software programs.
