Their credentialed team includes Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (CIRA), AICPA-accredited business valuation professionals (ABV), certified in financial forensics (CFF), Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) and NACVA designated certified valuation analysts (CVA).

We’re looking for a motivated full-time Associate to join our Detroit office located in Southfield, MI.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of engagements and industries early in your career. You’ll work closely with clients and team members, with opportunities for growth based on performance and initiative.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Client-related engagement work including working on business disputes, damage calculations, litigation support, business valuations, and insolvency
• Draft reports and memos to clients regarding engagements
• Learn and understand the accounting and finance functions for a wide range of businesses in diverse industries
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial data
• Develop sophisticated, flexible financial models
• Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and detailed analyses
• Support forensic accounting and investigative projects
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred
• 0–3 years of experience in accounting or corporate finance
• Strong technical accounting foundation and financial acumen
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable working with incomplete or unstructured data
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial modeling and presentation tools
• Aptitude for both qualitative and quantitative analysis
