The City of Virginia Beach seeks entry-level Public Safety Emergency Telecommunicator I to receive, process, and relay requests for police, fire, or EMS services. Training includes ECCS 911 academy and on-the-job instruction with certifications toward the Telecommunicator IV role.
There is a signed commitment to attend training with no scheduled leave during the first six months, and this Alpha I position may require recall during major emergencies.
