The hours for this position are M-F, 11am-7pm
This position will provide mental health services to male and female youth who have issues related to Problem Sexualized Behaviors. The youth may have been adjudicated by a court or a referral for sexually reactive behaviors from a local child welfare program.
The Behavior Support Provider (BSP) will provide mental health services to clients and caregivers in the home or community using a variety of therapeutic approaches as determined in the client’s individual service plan. They will develop, complete, implement, and review client’s individual service plan as required by Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services rules and Cadence Care Network policy.
This can include coordination and explanation of services identified in the plan, assistance with accessing natural support systems and linking formal community services and systems with the client and family specific to client’s mental health diagnosis. They will provide mental health interventions that address symptoms, behaviors, and emotional well-being to assist an individual in eliminating barriers to seeking or maintaining independence in personal, educational and occupational environments.
Bachelor’s degree in social work or counseling
