About the Position

Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK) is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to join the Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) team. This position provides crisis intervention services to both youth and adults throughout the Kalamazoo community.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician, you will:
- Work collaboratively with the Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) team.
- Provide crisis intervention services to youth and adult individuals in the community.
- Complete crisis interventions, safety planning, and assessments to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Work alongside clinicians, peer support specialists, community health workers, and law enforcement.
- Serve individuals in a variety of emergency and community-based settings, including:
- Individual homes
- Crisis housing
- Homeless shelters
- Other community locations
- Utilize recovery philosophy and person-centered care principles to effectively engage clients based on their individual needs.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Substance Abuse/Mental Illness (SA/MI), and the criminal justice system is preferred.

Four-Day Standard Work Week
Option 1

- 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Additional Schedule Requirements
- Must be willing to work quarterly holidays.
- Must be willing to work one Saturday per month.
Shift Premium
Employees working evening shifts are eligible for additional compensation in accordance with ISK policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience.
- Extensive knowledge of:
- DSM-IV diagnostic criteria
- Co-occurring disorders
- Substance use disorders
- Evidence-based and promising practice interventions
- Psychotropic medications
- Involuntary hospitalization procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Licensure
Applicants should possess one of the following:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC)
